Our pod specification, our telemetry schema, our measured data and our benchmark methodology are public. A customer can evaluate the complete interface before contacting Coral, a competitor can implement against it, and an independent engineer can reproduce Coral's results. Open specifications are not altruism: Coral would rather be the standard than the secret.
Coral publishes its pod mechanical, thermal and telemetry interface specification, its instrumentation schema, its measured fleet performance data and its benchmark methodology. A customer can evaluate the complete interface before contacting Coral, a competitor can implement against it, and an independent engineer can reproduce Coral's results.
Why we do this
Open specifications are not altruism. A specification that others build to becomes the reference architecture for the category, and the organisation that maintains it acquires a structural position no marketing budget can buy. Coral would rather be the standard than the secret.
