Thermal
Thermal specifications, both platforms
Coral Edge and Coral OnPrem both ship single-phase immersion cooling today: sealed dielectric fluid, no fans in the thermal path, dual redundant pumps on both platforms. The Coral OnPrem operating envelope holds oil at 25 to 35 C typical, with a 45 C maximum oil temperature and a 55 C maximum component temperature.
Current NVIDIA rack-scale reference designs specify coolant supply up to 45 C, leaving the compute at approximately 55 C. Designing the Coral secondary loop around that temperature is what makes chiller-free dry heat rejection reachable in most climates, and therefore what makes a near-zero water deployment achievable rather than aspirational. Raising Coral's loop supply temperature toward that band is a stated Gen 2 engineering direction rather than a current specification, and this site says so rather than implying otherwise.
A structured technical conversation about power, thermal capacity, density, jurisdiction and deployment sequencing for a specific site. If the answer is that CoralDC is not the right fit, it says so.
