Measured, not claimed

Coral commits to publishing measured performance rather than modelled performance, and to commissioning independent third-party engineering validation of every performance claim it makes. Where a figure is modelled rather than measured, Coral labels it as modelled and publishes the derivation.

Calibration tools, sensor traces and open technical documentation beside measured infrastructure.
Evidence Classes

How to read every number on this website

LabelMeaning
Coral specStated in Coral's own technical specification. Publish as-is.
Coral derivedCalculated from Coral specification values, with the arithmetic available.
Coral modelledCalculated by Coral as a planning assumption. Never presented as a fact.
VerifiedStated by a primary source: a vendor specification, a regulator, an investor filing or a peer-reviewed publication, with the citation given.
Industry normA figure widely used across the sector for this equipment class, not specific to Coral and not yet replaced by a Coral measurement.

Every figure on CoralDC.com carries one of these five labels. If a number appears anywhere on this site without one, that is a defect and we would like to know about it.

Commitments

What Coral commits to publishing

Fleet PUE and WUE, published continuously rather than as an annual claim.

Workload-level power consumption results submitted to the recognised industry AI benchmark suite, including the power measurement division.

Chiller-free hours achieved per climate zone, against the modelled prediction.

Thermal control performance: spike suppression, setpoint headroom released, and compute released per megawatt.

Fluid condition and service life against projection.

Heat delivered to offtakers, metered.

Digital twin deviation from measured.

Coral publishes results that do not favour Coral. A benchmark programme that only ever produces good news is not a benchmark programme.

Today

What Coral can state today

MetricValue
Maximum IT load, Coral OnPrem Series200 kW
Typical PUE, Coral OnPrem Series1.05 to 1.15
Infrastructure overhead, Coral OnPrem SeriesUnder 6 percent
Cooling energy reductionUp to 90 percent versus an air-cooled baseline
Floor space reductionUp to 90 percent versus an equivalent air-cooled rack deployment
Water consumption reductionUp to 90 percent versus an evaporatively cooled baseline
Edge Series overhead, dry cooler modeApproximately 2.0 kW against roughly 12 kW IT load
Power density, Coral OnPrem SeriesApproximately 78 kW per square metre of rack footprint

Measured octave-band acoustic data, the Coral climate matrix, measured WUE by configuration, and the fluid fire point and insurance certificate are in production and are not published until they are measured. Where this site currently uses an industry norm in place of one of them, it says so.

Request the specification document

A consulting engineer can design a Coral pod into a building without a sales conversation. Ask for the current interface document and the change log.
