Coral Compute is managed GPU infrastructure and operations. CoralDC monitors, maintains and optimises the deployed system while the hardware remains on the customer's premises and inside the customer's jurisdiction. It is designed for institutions that need AI capacity but should not have to build and retain a data centre engineering function.

Why this is not a cloud service

The distinction matters for the buyers CoralDC serves. In a cloud arrangement the infrastructure belongs to the provider and sits in the provider's facility. Under Coral Compute the infrastructure sits in the customer's building, under the customer's physical control, in a jurisdiction the customer specifies. What is delegated is operational labour, not custody.

Does Coral Compute mean CoralDC has access to our data?

No. Coral Compute operates the infrastructure layer: thermal, power, hardware health and platform maintenance. Consistent with standard managed-infrastructure practice, CoralDC's operational access is scoped to the infrastructure layer by default and does not extend to workload contents, model weights or application data unless the customer explicitly grants it for a specific support purpose. Access to workloads and data is governed by the customer's own controls and defined explicitly in the service agreement.

Can we take operations in-house later?

Yes. The infrastructure is the customer's, and the managed service is designed so that operational responsibility can transfer back without replacing hardware or re-architecting the deployment.
