Coral Pod C40-HC
The Coral Pod C40-HC is the high cube variant of the C40. Same four tanks, same 168 rack units, same 800 kW of thermal capability, in a container 305 mm taller. That extra height is not cosmetic. It is what makes top-loading service possible, and it is the difference between a two-technician node swap and a partial tank drain.

Why this variant exists
A 42U immersion tank is 1,620 mm tall. An 8U GPU node is 356 mm. A lifting frame and hook adds approximately 450 mm and handling margin adds 100 mm, so vertical extraction requires approximately 906 mm of clear space.
A standard 40ft container gives 770 mm. A high cube gives 1,080 mm.
That single number determines the service model for the life of the asset. CoralDC publishes it on the specification page because a buyer discovers it on the first node failure regardless, and would rather have been told.

What is the difference between the C40 and the C40-HC?
Container height. The C40-HC is a high cube giving 2,700 mm of internal height against 2,591 mm external and 2,390 mm internal on the standard C40. That produces 1,080 mm of clear space above the immersion tanks instead of 770 mm, which is what a lifting frame needs for vertical node extraction. Tank count, rack units and thermal capability are identical.
